Day 01 :
Yangon arrival

On arrival at Yangon Airport, our guide will welcome your family and escort you to hotel for refreshing. Yangon, your first touch in Myanmar is a fascinating city which is beautifully stuffed with faded British colonial buildings, wealth of Buddhist shrines, pagodas and boasting unique culture of mixed Indian, Chinese and Burmese influence.
Commence the first visit to Shwedagon, the biggest golden pagoda in Myanmar, being so famous for its giant stupas and spires as well the holiest pilgrimage site in the area. This is a great place introducing the children to Burmese culture and Buddhism. Welcome dinner with cultural show is evening`s highlight.

Day 2
Yangon city tour

Enjoy a full guided tour in Yangon with our local guide. Your children will love the bustling streets of the downtown area and will enjoy exploring the lively Scott Market, a labyrinth of stalls selling all manner of exotic produce and trinkets. You will pass through Chinatown and India town so perhaps stop for some delicious Indian pakora or chapatti at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we will visit Chautatkhgyi pagoda, famed for the biggest reclining Buddha statue in Myanmar, followed by a pleasant walk in royal place where you will admire Karaweik Palace and the green park of Kandawgyi.

Day 3
Yangon – Mandalay

We take a morning flight to Mandalay. On arrival in Mandalay you will visit the Railway Market, a unique and very un-touristy market which is held each morning on the actual rail line in Mandalay. From here head to the banks of the Irrawaddy to board a small boat to sail upriver to the ancient site of Mingun. The children will enjoy watching the great variety of wooden boats and bamboo rafts that trade on the river, carrying produce to distant markets. Mingun itself is home to an ancient brick pagoda that towers 50m over the river, and is home to the world’s largest intact bell.
In the afternoon you will head to Amarapura, home to the Mahagandayon monastery which houses more than 1,000 monks. After exploring the monastery you can visit the impressive U-Bein Bridge, the longest teak wood bridge in Myanmar.

Mandalay sightseeing

After breakfast at hotel, we drive to Ava and and explore this ancient capital by horse cart Visit the teak monastery of Bagaya Kyaung and the stucco-covered royal monastery, Me Nu Okk Kyaung.
In the afternoon you will explore Mandalay, including a visit to the Golden Palace and the Mahamuni pagoda. There are a number of craft workshops in the city which are worth a quick visit; you can see tapestry weaving, gold leaf application and bronze-melting. The highlight of this day is the panoramic sunset from the peak of Mandalay Hill.

Mandalay - Bagan

Today is spent for cruising downstream to Bagan. The whole day cruising and enjoying the beauty of Irrawaddy river with a lively life of river villagers. We arrive Bagan in the late afternoon. Once arrival, on guide will pick up and accompany you to hotel for leisure.

Day 6
Bagan temples tour

Visit the ancient capital of 'Bagan' and its architecture from 10 -13century AD. Sightseeing in Bagan includes Nyaung Oo Market; a village market where you can find from wet market of fish and meat to house hold things like ratten baskets, cotton wear and antiques, Shwezigon Pagoda; prototype golden stupa, Gubyaukgyi Temple; small temple good for panoramic view and famous for it's frescoe paintings of 12th century.
In the afternoon, we visit Ananda Temple; the most beautiful temple with 4 standing Buddhas in four cardinal points, history or lord Buddha and outside of the temple is decorated with Terra-Cotta worriers in green glaze plaques . Visit Lacquerware Factory and stroll around the village of Myinkaba, visit Manuha Temple; the temple of captive king of Tha-ton, and Pyattadagyi Temple for panoramic view of the city.

Day 7
Bagan - Mt. Popa - Kalaw

This morning you will head to Mount Popa, a scenic journey through toddy palm countryside. The mountain itself is the core of an extinct volcano and rises very sharply from the surrounding area; it is said to be the sacred home of the nats (or spirits), and it is a long climb up the 730 steps to the animist shrine at the top. However the views from the top are wonderful and it is fun to share the route with local pilgrims.
Later continue to Kalaw, high on the Shan Plateau. The road is increasingly spectacular as you wend your way up onto the plateau, leaving the plains of Central Burma behind. You will be able to stop along the way for pictures or to stretch your legs. The total driving time today is 6-7 hours.

Day 8
Kalaw - Green Hill Elephant Camp

A full day at the Green Hill elephant camp, set amongst 150 acres of preserved landscape this is a new initiative set up to focus on protecting the local ecology, elephants and traditions of the local people. The area is also home to a variety of birdlife, butterflies, orchids and bamboo forests. This is great fun for the children as you will have the chance to help feed and bathe the elephants as well as take an elephant-back ride into the forest.

Day 9
Kalaw - Inle lake

Your breakfast will be served at the hotel, then travel to Inle Lake, which is located in the heart of Shan plateau, a beautiful highland lake. We will take 1 hour walking to enjoy a wonderful view over the lake and visit a school in Tha Ley village. We continue the trip by a small canoe with an interesting experience of the day, you can see how Burmese cigars are packed and rolled at Nam Phan village. This village is situated on the stilts over the water, which is a traditional way of building houses in Inle Lake.

Day 10
Inle lake – Heho - Ngapali beach

Transfer to Heho for a flight to Ngapali Beach, one of the best in South East Asia, a beautiful long crescent of white sand and crystal clear water.
The remainder of the day is left free at your leisure.
