Day 01 :
Chiang Mai - Maesot
Today’s ride from Chiang Mai to Mae Sot at the border between Thailand and Myanmar is, although relatively long (360 kms.), an easy ride for which we can use the whole day. Much of it is on dual-lane highway, except for the last 80 kms. which will take us along a nice and winding road across the mountain range separating Mae Sot from the rest of Thailand. Lunch at a local restaurant on the way. Dinner at a local restaurant. Accommodation at Centara Mae Sot Hills Resort.

Day 02 :
Maesot - Mawlamyine
Today, you will enter the Golden Land of Myanmar across the “ Good will “ bridge which links Thailand with Burma. For the first 45km, we will tackle the hard road and enjoy the rural landscape at ease. After lunch,cross the Thanlwin (Salween) River for the first time as we continue to Thaton then head to Mawlamyine (Moulmein). In Mawlamyine, we cross over the Salween River again as we take Burma’s longest bridge connecting the cities of Mottama and Mawlamyine. Mawlamyine is Burma’s 3rd largest city and capital of Mon State. This charming and multicultural city lies at the mouth of the Salween River and was British Burma’s first capital from 1826 – 1852. Enjoy a visit to the Kyaikthanlan Pagoda which the famous English writer Rudyard Kipling meant in his poem when he wrote: “By the old Moulmein pagoda lookin’ lazy at the sea.

Day 03 :
Mawlamyine - Golden Rock
Our guide and driver will meet your hotel at Mawlamyine and head to Golden Rock. You’ll stop at Kawgun caves, along the way, and marvel at the ancient wall carvings that date back to the 7th-century. Once arrival in Golden Rock, we, as well as others, normally have two options to go up the Golden Rock. One way is to walk along the twisting 10km, on the footpath through a bamboo forests. The second way is to travel to the rock by small open trucks, taking one hour. Admire the stunning Golden Rock which is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites in entire Burma.

Day 04
Golden Rock - Bago - Yangon
Early riser can behold a beautiful sunrise from the top of Golden Rock this morning. After breakfast, we head back to Bago, one of the richest archeological sites in Burma. Your orientation discovery of Bago commences with the 55m reclining Buddha Shwe Tha Lyaung then Shwemawdaw pagoda. After lunch, we will see how local artisan produce silk in a typical Mon weaving village. Transfer to your hotel for your personal leisure.

Day 05
Yangon sightseeing
Our guide will meet you at your hotel to start your interesting discovery of Yangon. This morning, you enjoy a guided walk to Yangon Old Quater beginning from Sule Pagoda, an outstanding landmark of Yangon with a rich history of more than 2,600 years.Continue your visit to Mahabondoola Park and Myanmar Independence monument.
In the afternoon, our driver will bring you to Chauk That Gyi Pagoda to admire the giant reclining Buddha then heading to Scott, the biggest market in Myanmar stuffed with hundreds of handicraft, gemstone, art, food and clothes stores.
Conclude the visit of Yangon with a pleasant walk from Kandawgyi lake to Shwedagon. Our tour guide will introduce you the uniqueness and how important Shwedagon pagoda is to the life of Yangon people. Sunset by this golden spire is simply very remarkable before you return to your hotel.

Day 06
Yangon - Naypyitaw
We drive to Nay Pyi Taw this day. Nay Pyi Daw is generally translated as "royal capital it was used as a suffix to the names of royal capitals, such as Mandalay. The name literally means "Royal City of the Sun" in Burmese. Take a short orientation tour of the town and discover the charming central lake. Overnight in Nay Pyi Taw.

Day 07
Naypyidaw - Drive to Bagan
This city is no doubt one of the most impressive sites anywhere in Asia. Begin to visit the gold-plated Shwezigon Pagoda, Bagan’s greatest reliquary, built to house relics of the Buddha brought from abroad. From here, drive to the small village of Wetkyi-in to see the wonderful Kubyaukgyi Temple, renowned for its ancient murals then Ananda temple, one of the most reserved monuments in the entire Bagan. Your sightseeing also includes the Htilominlo Temple, which houses four Buddha figures on the ground floor and four more on the first floor. Continue your exploration of the city’s treasure trove of Buddhist art and architecture. Enjoy the sunset on the top of the Shwenandaw Pagoda.

Day 08
Bagan Sightseeing
Spend your full day exploring the remainder of Bagan which consists of more than 2500 temples andpagodas. This archaeological site brings us to the scared history of ancient Bagan capital with thedevelopment of Buddhism.As we travel further into the land of temple spires, Htilomino, Gawdamgangyi, Ananda and Shwezigontemples will attract your sense of curiosity with a profound impression.The highlight of this day is the sunset from the second highest temple the Shwenandaw.

Day 09
Bagan - Mt Popa - Mandalay
This morning, we drive to Mount Popa, an extinct volcano with its shrines dedicated to animist spirits known as “Nats”. For the energetic, time to climb up the 777 steps to the shrine at the top of the volcanic plug. En route visit Salay and Yoke Sone Kyaung, Thar Ta Na Yaung Chi Monastery if the time permits. This late afternoon, we reach Mandalay. Travel to Amarapura to enjoy a walk over U Bein bridge, the longest teak wood bridge in Myanmar and the world. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 10
Mandalay sightseeing
Start your sightseeing today with a board ride upstream to Mingun, home to Uncomplete Wall,Sandamuni pagoda and Mingun ringing bell. Our local expert will be pleased to introduce you the life ofpeople who live on the banks of Irrawaddy river. In the afternoon, we will discover the royal Mandalay vestiges and relics covering imperial Palace, GoldenPalace Monastery and Kuthodaw Pagoda also known as the world biggest book.The highlight of this day is the panoramic sunset from the peak of Mandalay Hill.

Day 11
Mandalay - drive to Pindaya
Drive to Pindaya to visit magnificent Pindaya caves set in a limestone ridge overlooking a picturesque lake where thousands of different types of Buddha images are a display in the various cave chambers, then Shwe U Min Pagoda. Continue visit some local houses where families produce Shan paper and parasols. Free at leisure.

Day 12
Pindaya - Inle lake sightseeing
Drive to Inle Lake in the morning. Skimming along the waterways in a long-tail boat, catch a first glimpse of floating gardens, stilt houses, and fishermen propelling their skiffs with one leg wrapped around an oar. Visit the infamous Phaung Daw U Pagoda, which enshrines five Buddha images believed to have been carried to this area by the widely-traveled 12thcentury King Alaungsithu then Nga Phe Chaung Monastery or Jumping Cat Monastery in other words. We then ride our boat to the Nampan and Innpawkhone villages. Here we get an ideal chance to see some traditional cigar making and silk weaving, and hopefully some local fishermen practicing their uniquely distinctive rowing technique. Return back to the boat station free at leisure.

Day 13
Inle Lake - Drive to Keng Tung
Drive to Keng Tung. We reach the destination in the late afternoon. Take a short orientation tour of the town if time allows, discovering the tea shops, and the central lake. Overnight in Keng Tung.

Day 14
Keng Tung sightseeing
Take a city tour around Keng Tung and its colonial buildings and temples. Walking on the streets, you can see many people of different religions, from Buddhism, Christian and Animism with colorful clothing. Spend whole morning visiting the most prominent sites of Keng Tung including Mahamyatmuni Buddha image, the most impressive Wat Jong Kham Pagoda and its gilded Buddha. Complete the day in the sunset of Shan monasteries in the downtown and R.C.M church.

Day 15
Keng Tung - Tachileik
This day we drive to Tachileik then depart Burma for Thailand.
